HOW WILL IT BE?

I CAN SEE A LIPSTICK TRACE

ON THE CUP BY YOUR SIDE OF THE BED

I CAN SEE A HOLLOW LEFT ON THE PILLOW

MADE BY YOUR HEAD

I GOT A SPACE IN MY HEART

AND IT ECHOES TO MY PAIN

NEVER THOUGHT WE WOULD PART

BUT I MADE A MISTAKE AGAIN

HOW WILL IT BE?

DRINKING ALONE, BUYING A MEAL FOR TWO?

HOW WILL IT BE?

HEARING THE PHONE, KNOWING THAT IT’S NOT YOU?

I CAN SMELL YOUR SWEET PERFUME

ON THE CLOTHES THAT YOU LEFT BEHIND

I CAN FEEL A SENSE OF YOU

IN MOST EVERYTHING, I FIND

I GOT A SPACE IN MY HEART

AND IT ECHOES TO MY PAIN

NEVER THOUGHT WE WOULD PART

BUT I MADE A MISTAKE AGAIN

HOW WILL IT BE?

DRINKING ALONE, BUYING A MEAL FOR TWO?

HOW WILL IT BE?

HEARING THE PHONE, KNOWING THAT IT’S NOT YOU?

MAYBE IT’LL END SOONER THAN I THINK

MAYBE IT WON’T LAST

MAYBE I’LL FIND I CAN START TO GET OVER YOU

BUT UNTIL I DO

I STILL HAVE A TASTE OF YOU

ON MY LIPS FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE

I STILL HEAR THE ECHO HOWL

IN THE HALL WHEN YOU CLOSED THE DOOR

HOW WILL IT BE?

DRINKING ALONE, BUYING A MEAL FOR TWO?

HOW WILL IT BE?

HEARING THE PHONE, KNOWING THAT IT’S NOT YOU?
